Designed to operate at temperatures down to -18°C, the Peki Sub Zero van has fully insulated walls, floor, roof and doors, incorporating an 85mm insulated roof, 100mm insulated front wall and 100mm insulated floor with 30mm insulated fibreglass side walls. The side wall thickness provides greater interior pallet width where this is a critical issue.
With straight deck, drop deck, B-Double and road train configurations available there is sure to be a model to suit your needs.
Standard equipment includes:
• LED multi-volt lights
• Polished aluminium and ‘rubber’ mudguards fitted to both front and rear of the suspension
• Heavy duty galvanised rear bumper bar
• Hub odometer to aid maintenance scheduling
• Dual, free swinging, tyre carrier with safety cables and wheel clamps
• Interior lighting
A popular major option is the Multi-Temp Trailer which incorporates twin evaporators allowing the cargo area to operate at two or even three different temperatures (one ambient). The cargo area is divided by either moveable or fixed partitions and accessed either through side doors or through the rear doors depending on your requirements. This flexible configuration is often used for food distribution in remote areas where some goods are frozen, some chilled and some simply dry freight.
Other popular options include meat hangers, airflow floors, pallet floors, sliding curtains and insulated roller rear doors.
The high quality of the walls is a perfect base for signage or advertising for your business, while the quality of the body enhances the image of your business.
Typical applications include the distribution of dairy products, ice cream, frozen food and other frozen products where palletised distribution requires maximising the interior width of the trailer while also maintaining low temperature performance.
